Rare opportunity to acquire one of the most iconic jerseys in sports history. Bill Whelton was a defenseman for Boston U who tried out for the Olympic team in 1979. In 4 games at the National Sports Festival, Whelton tallied 4 points, fourth best among all defenseman, but it wasn’t enough to make the initial list of 26 players chosen to continue on with the team.
