Mid 1980’s Game Used/Game Issued jersey of Raider Great Rod Martin. Hero of Super Bowl 15 and then another Championship in Super Bowl 18. I originally bought this jersey as described as “Game Used” – upon receipt it really had minimal to no noticeable wear so I have always considered it “Game Issued”. I have collected vintage Raider jerseys for years and this has been a “place holder” in my collection until I found a “Game Used” Rod Martin jersey – which I did a few months ago. Therefore, I have decided to part with this one. The jersey has the usual silver tackle twill numbers and lettering on back (usual Raider font). The shoulders are that heavier “satiny” material used in mid to late 80’s. The rest of the jersey and collar is the traditional mesh. The jersey has been shortened – just cut (not hemmed). Usual Sandknit LA Raider and Sandknit size tagging (44). Inside is the Berlin WI wash tag. Beautiful jersey of a Raider great.
