Heres the story of these caps as I understand it. Ryans father had a few manufactured for Ryan to wear at the 2008 Winter Classic. They argued with the NHL right up to game day to be allowed to have the Streadfast Foundation patch on the hat. The one Ryan wore had both a Steadfast patch and a Sabres patch on it. This one only has a Steadfast Foundation patch on it. It has not been worn.
